Job Description :

A well reputed and successful Interior Design/ Fit-out/Contract Furniture Specialist company in the UAE is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor with previous Interior Fit-out/Office Furniture experience, for their Furniture Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Contract Furniture technical specification, Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, cost analysis and B O Q. The candidate should be capable of compiling quantities / estimates on spreadsheets and have knowledge of site surveys, execution and methods and have good communication skills in English, both written and oral.
Selected candidate is expected to
Liaise with Sales team to ascertain client requirements of furniture, including attending client meetings.
Specify furniture based on client requirements.
Source technical specifications of products.
Ascertain furniture BOQ from furniture layout drawings.
Prepare material break up/ quotation as per furniture layouts.
Prepare orders for international and local vendors.
Monitor orders for furniture and periodically update status to all concerned.
Liaise with Operations department for delivery/installation scheduling.
Update BOQ based on changes if any and prepare variation quotes/orders.
Retain all records systematically for future reference.

Benefits Offered : Monthly Salary: 4,000 - 5,999 AED
