Our client is a leading Bank with a strong presence across the UAE, Europe and Asia. We are hiring a Director/Senior Manager, Business Analyst, Enterprise Risk to be based in Abu Dhabi.

This Director/Senior Manager, Business Analyst, Enterprise Risk role is an expansion within the team as a result of expansion within the business.

This Enterprise Risk Business Analyst role will be a senior hire for the business interfacing with key stakeholders and decision makers. The main purpose of the role will be to develop the key relationship with business heads and interface with IT technical teams to support IT implementation and best practice from an Operational and Enterprise Risk perspective.


Key Roles and Responsibilities or the Director/Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk role:

Act as the liaison between Risk and IT on enterprise-wide Risk matters
Drive business strategy through Risk Analysis to ensure long-term business performance; work across Operational Risk, Credit Risk and other Risk matters
Perform business risk analysis and make changes to risk management policies, procedures and solutions
Work with the IT team and vendors to develop IT infrastructure implementation working within risk management limitations to support various local and global projects
Advising on systems and data requirements, validating and testing new and updated systems testing various business, functional requirements in support of the project and systems involved
Work with key counterparts on Risk Strategy and Limits management and ensure that Risk is managed within Risk Appetite and/or Risk Limits of the Bank


Requirements of the Director/Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk role :

At least 10 years of experience in Risk Analysis, Risk Consulting, Project Management in Risk Management, Risk Management / Enterprise Risk
Understanding of ALM-FTP, BASEL, IFRS 9, Operational Risk highly desired
Project management and experience with systems implementation is essential
Good understanding of risk solutions and ability to lead the transformation of change
Strong technical skills and a strategic mindset and business acumen
Excellent stakeholder management, and a keen eye for detail
