In order to develop the expansion of our IFRS service offering within the Accounting Advisory team, we are currently looking to recruit a Senior Associate.

Our Accounting Advisory team provide advisory services encompassing support in the implementation of new accounting standards, such as IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16. This also involves improvement of reporting processes such as fast close project; IFRS conversion and implementation; on call financial reporting advice; transaction accounting and financial reporting assistance; consolidation support.

What you’ll be doing:

Assisting clients in applying IFRS: conversions, implementation of new standards, accounting opinions etc.
Advising and supporting clients in the preparation of IFRS financial statements and improving their financial reporting to investors.
Assisting clients in improving and implementing efficient IFRS reporting processes.
Delivering added value services to clients by providing industry insight, “out-of-the-box” ideas and solutions to improve their reporting model.
Managing client relationships.
Professionally servicing clients.
Ensuring that engagements are executed in accordance with the firm's methodologies and guidance, professional standards and local legal and regulatory requirements.

Who we're looking for:

You’ll have 3-4 years of relevant work experience in audit, consultancy or accounting services.
You’ll have had exposure to IFRS, the use of IFRS software would be a distinct advantage.
You’ll be dynamic and looking to work in a rapidly growing business.
You’ll be client oriented and have the ability to develop excellent business relationship with clients.
You’ll have an entrepreneurial mindset and be willing to contribute to business growth.
You’ll be a strong team player.
You’ll have good project management skills.
You’ll be a confident communicator.
You’ll be fluent in English. Any additional language skills such as Arabic will be considered as an asset.
