Chinese Business Desk Dubai

The China Enterprise Team of Mayur Batra Group helps Chinese companies to successfully establish business in the UAE and also supports those companies who have already established their business in the respective market. The Holder of the position at the China Desk in our Dubai office would be in charge of developing business both in the UAE and China by knowledge-intensive and qualitative business development.


Core Responsibilities and Tasks:

Designing of short, medium, and long-term business development strategy based on the current setting and positioning of Mayur Batra Group on an international scale
Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout UAE region primarily
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
Proactively deriving tactics, measures and plans of action to sustainably build our brand in the UAE And China
Seamless teamwork with our Chinese Business Desk in India and Singapore to link Chinese-related activities and strategies to UAE, Singapore and India
Conception and execution of innovative marketing and sales strategies in light of our corporate branding and vision applied to internal and external corporate communication
Planning and organization of seminars / joint seminars with the other Business Enterprise teams in UAE
Establishment and management of client relationships
Initial Consultancy related to company registration and set up/ liquidation, taxation (if applicable), customs, regulations for Chinese Businesses in UAE, financial and legal matters, audit and accounting etc.
Project Management: coordination between clients’ requirements and in-house service provision in order to streamline communication processes and assure high-quality results based upon our One-Stop Shop Business Model
Holder of the position will be in charge of co-managing and co-leading the China Desk in Dubai and reports directly to the management through:
o Regular internal meetings and conferences

o Weekly business development reports


Requirements

Education: Master degree preferred; financial or legal background preferred

Nationality: Chinese National

Work Experience: 2-3 years experience in Business development; preferably in financial, legal or professional services


We are looking for a candidate with international work experience, high motivation and who is able to work proactively as well as independently. Travelling between China and Dubai, and our Headquarters, also implies high adaptability with regard to different business cultures and cultural backgrounds.
