Job Description :
A dynamic and innovative government entity in the heart of Dubai is currently looking is recruiting for a UAE National Director - Partnerships who reports directly to the Executive Director and is part of the Executive Leadership Team for the iconic visitor attraction that conceptualizes and drives the strategy and direction for it.
Identify Potential Partners
• You will be accountable for devising the partnership strategy for the attraction, articulating the various types and examples of partners the attraction wishes to engage, the value proposition for the attraction, and the potential actions to solicit them.
• You will maintain a system for tracking potential partners, gathering and storing information on their challenges and needs that can be used to foster relationships.
• Confidently engaging and communicating with highly influential stakeholders and institutions around the world, including government and corporate leaders (CXO level), is essential to the role.
• You will collaborate with Marketing and Communications to create any needed collateral, arrange any marketing activities, press interactions or other outreach activities.
Build Partnership Relationships
• You will build and maintain close rapport with influential stakeholders within the company and the UAE.
• In addition to developing corporate networks, you foster new or connect with existing communities, councils and interest groups that align with the attraction’s agenda.
• You will without hesitation promote and advocate the attraction in various settings, functions and interactions.
Create and Manage Agreements
• You will communicate and collaborate with potential partners to explore needs and develop ideas on the terms of the partnership arrangement.
• You will identify creative and innovative ways of collaborating with partners, that serves both parties.
• You will tactfully negotiate partnership terms for mutual gain, in a way that continues to foster a positive relationship and has the objective of maximising the benefit and gains for partners and the visitor attraction.
• In collaboration with Legal, you will draft partnerships agreements (i.e. contracts, memorandums of understanding) that clearly and succinctly articulate the various terms and expectations of the partnership.
• You will maintain and track delivery against agreements, to ensure that both the attraction and each partner are following the terms of the agreement and are both realising the intended benefits.
Manage and Engage Existing Partners
• You will monitor and measure performance outcomes related to the gallery’s partnerships, by gathering data on growth, retention and engagement of partners as well as gathering qualitative insight into satisfaction of partners and areas for improvement.
Create Communities
• You will create new and support existing communities of interest that are aligned with the attraction’s ethos.
• You will promote the agenda and vision of the gallery amongst others by planning and running events for community members including workshops, talks, competitions, celebrations and awards.
Who we’re looking for?
• You will have 12+ years’ experience building strategic or partnerships, fundraising or in account management, working with highly influential government and corporate stakeholders.
• You will hold a bachelor’s degree in business, communications or a related field.
• You will have a track record of building deep networks and relationships with decision makers.
• You will have experience in developing high financial value partnership agreements and executing them.
• You will be highly connected within the UAE, region and globally, with a network of influencers and decision makers in high-profile institutions.
• You will be a problem solver, looking for innovative ways to build mutually beneficial agreements.
• You will have exceptional interpersonal and persuasion skills to communicate deftly with key influencers and decision makers in large corporate organisations on a global scale.
• Flexibility to travel regionally and internationally is required.
• You will ideally be at a minimum able communicate fluently in English and Arabic. Other languages are desirable
