Job Description :

Social Media Manager: Create, curate and manage content


Design and implement social media strategy and content calendar aligning with The Lighthouse goals and activities
Manage social media accounts and generate original content daily on various platforms
Daily community management and engagement with followers, responding to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews including Zomato; Trip Advisor; Google My Business
Manage sponsored posts
Tracking and reporting of analytics relating to social media and digital marketing channels including Instagram and Eat App

Content Manager


-Responsible for writing the copy for:


All captions shared on social media
The Lighthouse monthly newsletter on Mail Chimp
In-store display cards with brand descriptions
Up-to-date information (eg. opening hours) on various online platforms and reservations systems including Google and Tripadvisor
Content used on digital platforms

Duty as Content Manager also includes digital content of www.TheLighthouse.ae

Responsible for writing the copy of TheLighthouse.ae front-end including product pages; About Us; FAQ
Regular update of the press page with new clippings and event page with current events
Regular update of product stock count in back-end (coordinate with Retail Manager)
Coordinate with Retail Manager upon receiving online order
Coordinate with Web Developer and Aramex team for back-end/front-end updates & troubleshooting
Implementation of online promotions on thelighthouse.ae

Main Point of Contact for

Press: Info and image requests
TheLighthouse.ae’s web developer
Aramex back-end team

Coordination with The Lighthouse’s PR Company Includes

Editing press releases/materials
Image and information requests
Coordinating with The Lighthouse FOH team for media reviews and photoshoots

Should Be Comfortable With


Flexible hours (including working remotely, evening events coverage and holidays)
Using WordPress and WooCommerce (with support from Web Developer)
Supporting the Retail Manager in case of WhatsApp orders and E-Commerce orders
Using Mac programs such as Pages and Keynote
