Job Description :

The Supply Chain Officer shall be responsible for purchase, receipt, storage and distribution of all NRL purchases to internal stakeholders and NRL clientele. He/She will carry out tasks assigned by management in order to ensure timely delivery of all the items to the designated laboratories.


Responsibilities:


Procurement

Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine supply needs, quality, and delivery requirements.
Source price quotations, prepare and process purchase requisitions/orders as required.
Expedite and follow up with suppliers to schedule deliveries, resolve material, value discrepancy, outstanding and overdue delivery of orders, warranty claims and damage, and return of materials.
Match delivered items to purchase requisitions/orders with invoices and forward to accounts for payment processing.

Warehouse

Assist in maintaining all items properly and ensure good quality housekeeping of warehouse.
Enter data for production scheduling, stock replenishment/relocation and inventory adjustments.
Maintain stock rotation using various approaches such as ‘last in first out’ (LIFO) and ‘first in first out’ (FIFO), and dispose of, and account for obsolete stock.
Monitor inventory levels and reconcile physical inventories with records. Assist external auditors as needed for physical stock count.
Generate and/or review inventory reports.
Coordinate with government authorities for the shipping and receiving of NRL purchases or other items as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Managment or Logistics
Minimum 2 years' experience preferably in the healthcare services setting
