Job Description :
The Construction Manager is required to coordinate and manage all aspects of the site project finance system, the site office administration and the project construction administration.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•Administer and update the Project Finance Report (PFR) system
•Monitor and update the Project Financial Plan
•Prepare and submit monthly supervision invoices
•Administer office Health and Safety
•Prepare and maintain the ‘Project File’
•Recruit supervision staff
•Administer staff timesheets
•Administer staff holiday requests/approvals
•Administer site petty cash/expenses
•Liaise with MP Dubai office (concerning e.g. recruitment, drawings etc)
•Ensure that all parties undertake their duties in accordance with the current/relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Contractor’s Health and Safety Plan.
•Administer the daily correspondence of the Site Office (Check all incoming correspondence, allocate actions and review responses).
•Set up and maintain management systems for correspondence, contract documents and general office organisation.
•Liaise with Employer concerning timing/phasing of works on site by other contractors and developers.
•Attend meetings with Employer, Contractor and necessary Statutory Authorities.
•Respond to Contractors correspondence on contractual issues.
•Administer production of monthly site progress reports
