Job Description :
Responsible for all data and content across all products and platforms produced by the organization
Develop, track, and control the deployment of an annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing, and operations as required by the research function.
Build and manage the business intelligence team to oversee management of Data Acquisition, Intelligence Reporting, Media and Research and development, as well as project management and be responsible for maintaining service levels across staff
Supervise recruitment, training, retention, and organization of all research staff in accordance with the company hiring process, personnel policies, and budget requirements.
Identify, analyze and monitor evolving socio-political behavioral and market trends including existing and emerging technologies, best practices and legal and regulatory requirements that may support or impede the success of the business.
Anticipate and react to major regional changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive market research & media landscape.
Establish research standards and guidelines and ensure adherence to them for development and company operations.
Establish standards of performance and monitor conformance for staff (through performance review) and vendors (through service level agreements).Manage and maintain relationships with key industry sources including top engineering, government and media houses to acquire and generate relevant content for publication
Participate as a member of the senior management team in establishing governance processes of direction and control to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately and the organization’s resources are used responsibly, particularly in the areas of intelligence acquisition, data analysis and research reporting.
Identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s services, including identification of competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to the business success.
Lead strategic planning for the research department to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all market research and media services.
Collaborate with the appropriate departments to assess and recommend innovations that support company organizational needs.
