Job Description :
Partner with Senior Management to provide consulting and implementation services to enhance operational/organizational efficiency (e.g. improve revenue, reduce cost, enhance customer service etc). Provide process and organisational improvement services on an ad-hoc basis as required by the Senior Management. Proactively identify and initiate improvement opportunities across the Company.
Engage and work closely with Senior Management to develop strategies to align organisational policies, structures, processes, roles, responsibilities with management objectives in respective areas and in close collaboration with support departments (HR, Finance).
Assume the lead role on major organizational, cross functional, change management projects or programmes which normally involves leading middle and senior management staff to deliver project objectives within challenging time frames. These projects, in addition to being cross-functional initiatives at times, necessitate providing requisite leadership for the team around newer approaches to business.
Manage external contacts with professional bodies, industry or trade associations, or academic institutions through direct contact, surveys, or participation at international forums to complete appropriate research and benchmarking that will establish and bring back new process or management practises to the Company.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in related industry knowledge and management expertise and to maintain professional relationships outside the Company in support of a leadership role in own subject area of expertise. Deliverables will be managed by providing corporate-wide guidance to all areas around specific initiatives e.g. CSR, EFQM and helping implement such initiatives.
Play a leading role in driving the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) programme, linked to initiatives across the company to improve productivity/efficiency/quality/customer service, and guide direct reports to develop, agree and implement approved KPIs across the business units. The jobholder will be accountable for production of appropriate quarterly reports for Senior Management information/review.
Appraise Senior Management of relevant department initiatives within the company to enable business units to leverage from shared knowledge of each other’s initiatives and to help maintain competitive advantage for the Company.
Plan, develop and mentor direct reports to equip them with skills essential to undertake relevant process review studies and business reviews in order to maintain consistency of approach and demonstrate use of appropriate analytical, benchmarking and other decision making tools and techniques to support their recommendations and ascertain that any recommendations approved by Senior Management get communicated in an acceptable and constructive manner to business units and are taken through to implementation.
