The Deep Black Technologies Technology Consultant builds world-class tech architecture solutions for DBI’s clients.

The Tech Consultant helps our clients decide what technological infrastructure is best able to help them sustain and grow a profitable business as well as shape and enhance the behavior of their customers, employees and partners. Knowledgeable in the latest computer and networking trends, the Technology Consultant is trained to advise businesses how to get the most out of a technological web, e-commerce and mobile infrastructure.

Supports the CTO and project managers for designing the analysis required.
Collects all necessary data from the client for the analysis, look for alternatives in the absence of data and provide suggestions to the team.
Provides consulting and guidance for new applications, infrastructures, and projects that affect a business’s resources and plan for, articulate and design infrastructure to support deployment of the tech solutions required to execute the project.
Contributes to the architectural analysis designing efforts and guides the Project manager.
Overseeing and executing in some cases, the entire research process from defining the solution’s architectural methodology, moderating the study, analyzing the data, making recommendations, and effectively communicating findings to an audience of stakeholders.
Contributes to the preparation of client presentations providing all necessary research support for the project – i.e. benchmark or best practice research.
Assist in developing the strategies behind a client’s business objectives.
Advocate for the right set of actions to implement that strategy.
Conceptualize and communicate strategic solutions.
Conduct competitors analysis.
Design the research to extract the right findings to formulate recommendations.
Assess underlying market dynamics/intelligence and relate to projects to develop solutions.
Equip with all sufficient data to help draw conclusions.
Train, develop and agree deliverables of all analysts in his/her team
Lead all 3rd parties for the execution of the project and ensuring quality and on-time delivery.


Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum 8 years of relevant Business/large scale experience with proven desire for personal growth and achievements.
An undergraduate degree from a reputable university in business, economics, computer science, engineering or a related field with outstanding academic record. MBA and/or advanced degree is a plus.
Ability to develop roadmaps that define the future state of a backbone architecture and recommend potential solutions to reach these goals.
Strong analytical and technical skills and the ability to creatively solve complex problems.
Experience and skills on working within a complex environment with demonstrated capabilities in organizing, translating, and presenting complex qualitative and quantitative information.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and documentation skills in English and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
Ability to work and contribute effectively in teams composed of colleagues and client members.
Marketing/sales/research experience is highly preferred.

High level of client service commitment and strong understanding of various vertical industries tech needs and pain points.
