Job Description :

Manage / administrate and full responsibility of the execution of 132/11kv, 400kv and cables, turnkey projects from the initial stage of the project (Letter of Award) upto the defect liability / close out of the project in compliance with contract scope, DEWA specification & International standards, within budgeted cost & quality standards & in fulfilment of OH&S Policies & Master Plan. ¿ Develop / Manage / Supervise OH&S practices relating to safety of workers and equipment on the project site comply with the approved OH&S DEWA Manual. ¿ Participation in DGEP , establishing department strategy plan & reviewing SLAs. ¿ Continuously innovate and fulfil requirements of driving the Corporate excellence. Facilitate, transfer and share knowledge with collegues and subordinates
Overall responsibility of the project phase from initial stage (participation in the tender stage) till close out of the project including cable works and single point of contact from the consultant and contractor. ¿ Monitoring and controlling of contract activities and reporting the job status periodically to the ASMPT / DSMPT on critical issues required maintaining contractor progress according to the project schedule. ¿ Ensures that the contract procedures are followed during the implementation of the project. ¿ Coordinate with concerned department (DEWA), contractor, Client amd consultant to plan for effective utilization of outages.In addition, attending regular meetings and visit prjectes sites to check and monitor the progress of the work, writes the Minutes of meeting and prepare weekly/monthly reports to the ASMPT/DSMPT. ¿ Insure that the contactor/consultant are following DEWA technical specification ref. as per the contract.
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelors degress in electrical engineering
