Job Description :
We have a number of great opportunities for experienced professionals to join an established successful business working within an organisation with a prestigious history and a leading established brand. To drive the business development and sales activities in the GCC. We are looking for Business Development Managers around the GCC, whilst our office locations in the region are in Dubai and Doha these roles will be based in country with travel to and from the office locations. To support the Regional Director with Strategic Development initiatives and their delivery with the outputs being to deliver growth in member numbers, commercial product revenues and drive recognition and standards adoption campaigns in the country.
Sales and business development includes the following services or products:
• RICS alternative dispute resolution services (training and appointments)
• RICS portfolio of training products and services
• RICS membership growth through events, key account meetings, client awareness meetings, sales and marketing campaigns
• Promoting adoption of RICS / international standards
• Developing RICS advisory services opportunities
• Developing educational alliances
• Coordinating with MENA Operations Manager and Regional Director on key account management
• Help deliver major growth or recognition initiatives at an operational level
• Meet deadlines and performance objectives.
• Regular reporting requirements
• Support with related marketing initiatives and campaigns
• Coordinate with colleagues in other world regions on global key account development
• Carry out other duties which may reasonably be required from time to time
Many of the above RICS services in the MENA region are at an embryonic stage e.g. ADR, advisory services to governments, training etc therefore the role will be a combination of strategic BD as well as driving a sales process which is scalable
• Commercial product revenue (focus on training and dispute resolution services)
• Member growth and development of key accounts
• Overall RICS recognition and profile
• Adoption and recognition of RICS and related international standards
• Introduce a sales management process including a plan, opportunity pipeline, key account management tool, sales forecasting and overall sales performance management system
• Successful launches of new products and services across the businesses
• Penetration of markets both laterally and vertically
• Developing a high quality brand which enhances RICS

Requirements
• Experience of sales and business development in a services organization with experience in MENA markets
• Had prior interaction with government bodies, regulators or other key influencing stakeholder groups
• Excellent communication, persuasion, negotiation and presentation skills including English (written and oral) and Arabic would be highly advantageous
• Ability to grasp new initiatives quickly and confidence to communicate on these in the public arena
• Experience of managing a sales process both in terms of prospecting, sales pipeline, revenue forecasting, key account management and influencing key stakeholders
• Knowledge of the property and construction industry
• Significant experience within a commercial organisation preferably within professional services organisations
• Strong strategic and business planning skills but with ability to execute delivery of plans
• Strong project management skills – delivery on time and within budget
• Customer focused, with the ability to build good external and internal relationships
• Comfortable in a client facing environment
• IT literate
• Budget management and planning skills
• Energetic, self-motivator with a positive, can-do attitude
• Good problem-solving ability, creativity, drive and entrepreneurial spirit
• Ability to work on own initiative and good team player
• Proven ability to achieve financial targets
• Strong understanding of customer service excellence.
• Flexibility to travel and occasionally outside of normal office hours
