The facilities are interconnected by 3km of waterways and landscaped gardens.

The resort also provides extensive leisure and health facilities including Talise Spa and Talise Fitness, as well as Souk Madinat Jumeirah, a traditional retail and dining experience showcasing the best of Arabia.

Jumeirah Al Naseem will have 430 luxurious rooms and suites, complete with walk-in rain showers, floor-to-ceiling windows and private outdoor terraces. The hotel is set among lush, landscaped gardens and offers three large swimming pools, as well as private beach access. Two banqueting rooms, each measuring 75 square metres, will complement the existing conference and events facilities at Madinat Jumeirah.



About the Role
An exciting position has arisen for a Duty Manager to manage the Front Office at Jumeirah Al Naseem in Madinat Jumeirah Resort. The main purpose of this role will be to represent the management of the Resort outside normal office hours and to supervise all Front Office colleagues working overnight ensuring a smooth operation and maximum guest satisfaction in all areas.

Main duties as follows:

To represent the management of the Resort outside normal office hours and to supervise all Front Office colleagues working overnight ensuring a smooth operation and maximum guest satisfaction in all areas.
Ensuring that all related policies & procedures are followed by Front Office Colleagues. Managing the Jumeirah Group loyalty program "Sirius" (i.e. following up on pending point, conducting training). Attending daily handover briefings before the beginning of every shift as well as departmental communication meetings. Controlling the booking situation of the day and handling booking out guests in case of an overbooking situation. Arranging emergency visas for guests if necessary, in conjunction with the Airport Desk. Ensuring the general cleanliness of the lobby and entrance area at all times and liaising with Housekeeping and Concierge when necessary. Assisting the Team Leaders when necessary (i.e. with checking Registration Cards, Group Check-ins). Recording relevant details of any major incident and important information in the guest feedback report. Completing checks on input standards (guest profiles, market, source and channel codes) on a daily basis, highlighting any issues to the Assistant Front Office Manager and taking action to ensure continual improvement. Assist in maintaining and developing front Office SOP's and to ensure all Front Office colleagues adheres to the correct procedures.
About You
In order to be considered for this role, you should be Degree educated and have leadership experience of at least two years in a Front Office Department of a luxury 5* hotel with 250+ rooms. Alternatively, we would also be keen to see candidates that have experience gained as an Assistant Front Office Manager in a 5* luxury hotel that has less than 292 rooms.

Bachelor/Masters Degree from a hotel school, fluency in a foreign language and knowledge of 'Opera' (Front Office Application) will be viewed as highly desirable.
