The Challenge
As an Arabic Content Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing, editing and producing high quality written translations and original texts in Arabic to facilitate effective communication between the organization and target audiences, ensuring consistency with multi-sector business terminology and company/UAE protocol conventions
Key Responsibilities

Planning and process
Demonstrate an excellent command of Arabic grammar, a strong ability to write cogently and expressively, and a good understanding of UAE and regional protocol in terms of Arabic communication
Efficiently translate a variety of documents clearly and accurately, working proactively with subject matter experts and document owners to ensure translated texts reflect the intended meaning
Efficiently produce original texts in Arabic to reflect approved messages, including but not limited to corporate and youth-focused web and print content, social media posts, executive speeches and talking points, official correspondence to government and other stakeholders, and video scripts
Review, edit and proofread translations both independently and in collaboration with other team-members to ensure the quality of translation conforms to acceptable standards and is in the appropriate tone and style and its target stakeholders
Manage external translation when required
Contribute to high-level narrative development and messaging work as a member of the One Voice team
People and resource
Provide support, tools and where appropriate, training, to help increase understanding of Arabic and its use – both within the unit and, where appropriate, the organization
Initiate self-learning through research, project discussions, meetings, etc., thereby actively developing rounded communications skills and gaining exposure to key aspects of the business
