This is a project based job for two to three months, with immediate availability and freelance contract

HiGuests is a fast growth holiday home operator, managing more than 350 units worldwide, with offices in Barcelona & Dubai. We are looking for energetic interior designers to join our project management team to prepare apartments which are prepared with the mind set for short term stays. We need the interior designer to be a runner, quick learner, pleasant and ready to take challenges any point of time.

Responsibilities Overview:

• Reports to the Head of the Interior Design Department.

• Does the job assignments of Interior Designing, Drafting, Drawing, Project Management, Installation, Decoration & Staging of the selected projects

• Ensuring and providing professional and high-class designs

• Completing projects within the given deadline & budget.

• Generally, supports procurement coordinator in the field in the execution of their job assignments and resolution of issues whenever needed.

Duties:

• Does surveys at client sites as required

• Drawing up 2D plans & develop space planning concepts

• If needed provide mood board - a collection of suitable images, colors and materials.

• Choosing the most appropriate materials for the design and budget.

• Participate or does the Furniture Selection/Finish Selection/Specification process.

• Coordinate to finish plans (purchase & delivery), specifications, and material selections within the time frame.

• Work with consultants, furniture dealers, product representatives, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives.

• Assist with inventory of furniture at client sites & warehouse.

• Understand and execute the utilities connection for the units.

• Everyday project reporting to the project coordinator.

Requirements:

• Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal English communication skills.

• User knowledge of office tools: Excel, Power Point, Email, project management tools

• Professional knowledge of design tools: AutoCAD, Photshop, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator

• UAE valid driving license, and own car

• Experience in similar roles. Own network of suppliers
