About The Role


**This is a key role that will lead digital product development for a vitally important national initiative**


Off the back of continued growth, we are hiring a Technical Digital Project Manager to be responsible for the planning, management and delivery of digital technical projects. 


The perfect candidate leverages their technical team leadership skills, knowledge of technical project delivery and experience architecture to build high performing content, design and technical teams using agile, devops and the most effective development tools and processes to bring the project to life. 


You’re also passionate about technology and using technology to solve business problems and you stay on the edge with the latest technologies and trends. 


as a Technical Digital Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing, supervising, tracking and reporting on all stages of the project, including ideation/concept, requirements, design and content production, iterative development, testing, and production launch. You’ll be client facing and will act as the primary point of contact and project lead across your scope.


You will already have experience working on projects from Government, to SMB to Fortune 500 companies. 


Your ultimate responsibility is to apply agile project management knowledge, skills, tools, and practices to ensure that the project generates successful outcomes.


Client & Stakeholder Management 


You’ve been around the block and you posses strong client and stakeholder leadership skills. You’re able to take charge and lead your client and stakeholders throughout every stage of the project development lifecycle. 


Where required you are comfortable adapting your approach, management of and interaction with different working styles and personalities. 


Education is sometimes key to wider understanding and adoption of proposed pathways. When required you’re able to lead your client and stakeholders through the education processes so that pathways that are best for your project are given the green light. And conversely where applicable, you’re listening to feedback and adapting your project execution in line with the nuances of the situation and any wider client requirements.


We’ve all been there and sometimes the realities are that some stakeholders require involved management. You’re comfortable maintaining stakeholder commitment even for the most challenging of stakeholders. And if in the event of difficult stakeholders your approach is both professional and practical, developing tactical approaches to difficult client, project team and/or stakeholder issues. Seeking balanced solutions that alleviate future friction should be seen as the ideal outcome. 


Requirements & What You’ll Need to Succeed. 


  • At least 5 years of professional Agile Digital/Technical Project Management experience with an existing portfolio of projects to showcase. 
  • Working knowledge of different digital technologies, tools, and project methodologies. 
  • Strong client facing, leadership and relationship experience, ideally at the Government or Enterprise level. Strong negotiation and management skillset to bring together multiple functions and teams to work collaboratively. 
  • Experience developing, managing and maintaining internal/external websites.
  • Working knowledge of cross-functional digital production disciplines ie video, motion, other areas of design, a good working knowledge of stack layers and supporting technologies. 
  • Experience working and building on digital platforms such as Webflow or other build/CMS tools, Azure, Github, etc.
  • Bonus points if you have a keen eye for design detail and can translate that into technical requirements. You will be supported here by a strong technical delivery team who can guide on the more complex subject matter. 
  • Bonus points if you have experience with modern no code tools such as webflow, infrastructure delivery via Azure, new technologies that sit on the edge of digital experiences i.e. Three.js, webgl, and other digital experience technologies. 
  • A keen attention to detail and a natural knack for systems and process thinking. 
  • Able to convey complex concepts, simply.
  • Full-time availability with the ability to start quickly.
