Job Description

Key priorities 

• Engage and cultivate potential clients and grow awareness of Yas Island as a major business event destination in the region. 
• The role will interface with the Abu Dhabi Convention Bureau, Experience Hub including international trade offices, Yas Island stakeholders and DMCs to showcase our proposition and offering. 
• Attract and secure high profile/mega corporate meetings and incentive travel groups. Develop proposals that are compelling/creative, timely and respond to organizer’s needs. Manage the bidding process end-to-end including strategy development, liaison and communications. 
• Manage and co-ordinate participation in relevant international tradeshows to generate MICE business leads for the destination and grow channels to drive business events on Yas Island. 
• Manage and maximise trade missions local MICE stakeholders, as well as corporate/trade/media familiarization trips in co-ordination with internal and external stakeholders, 
• Support on managing the consumer event portfolio including the successful contract, leveraging and overseeing delivery of events on Yas Island. 
• Ensure consumer events are fully activated across destination & implement project management to mitigate all risks whilst ensuring all stakeholders are engaged. 
• Ensure cross-island collaboration (operational and planning) for business & consumer events.
