Job Description :
Job Purpose:
In charge of generating new leads and business in the marine & renewables sectors expanding 3C Metal expertise to those industries.
Projects targeted:
- Ship Retrofit activities (in-port/ shipyard and during transit), typical projects:
- Ballast water treatment systems.
- Emissions reductions (Scrubbers, SCR, Fuel saving, Energy storage, etc.)
- Carbon Capture / storage.
- Small to Medium size EPC in Renewables (engineering, pre-fabrication and installation on site in remote locations): Wind, Solar and other technologies.
Responsibilities / Duties / Job Skills
- Develop the retrofit and EPC activities with both existing and new clients.
- Carry out market research and identify customers’ key decision makers
- Maintain live register of leads and corresponding status
- Identify potential customers for different business segments:
- Product range: ballast water treatment systems, Fuel saving systems, EGCS, CC, Solar, …
- Services: upgrade, retrofit, new installation.
- Identify competitors and their market share.
- Prospect technical decision makers and purchasers and promote 3C Metal solutions through technical presentations.
- Identify potential agents / partners in relevant geographical areas and liaise with them regularly.
- Develop and execute a sales plan to meet performance expectations and requirements.
- Regularly report to the Management about market status / update / movements / New technologies or New players, provide insight on the recommended strategy to get into those markets.
Knowledge / Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in those industries
- Technical knowledge in more than one of the specific products referred to above
- Proven sales/Business Development track record is essential.
- Extensive portfolio of contacts & clients in those sectors
- Education: Degree in Mechanical engineering &/or Naval architecture is beneficial
- Awareness of Quality Management and Safety systems and Standards
