Would you enjoy assisting top level manager helping to keep projects running on task? Parsons is now hiring an Executive Assistant for our top Manager at our Sharjah Project Office. Parsons extensive experience, combined with your attention to detail and willingness to work hard, will propel your career forward.

We need our Assistant at this level to gather statistics and general data; reviews and combines this information into established reports for use within and outside the unit. In this role you will perform various administrative, clerical, data collection, data entry, communication and coordination to assigned Manager. Most assignments require strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to follow up communications, set meetings and coordinate with all stakeholders, follow up documents.
  • May be responsible for verifying data gathered against file copies. Distributes reports as directed by immediate supervisor.
  • Originates correspondence and reports not requiring the personal attention of immediate supervisor.
  • Answers telephone, takes and relays messages. Receives, sorts, and distributes mail.
  • May coordinate physical space requirements for the assigned unit. Initiates requests for PCs and telephones, and updates Corporate Directory as appropriate.
  • May periodically prepare an occupancy report by project or gather information to complete staffing reports for the unit and/or several projects, as directed by immediate supervisor.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications
  • High School / University Diploma 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required. 
  • Good business English and general office practice skills are required. Speaking Arabic language is a plus
  • Demonstrated proficiency in keyboard skills, as well as a working knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet and Aconex software, are required.
