We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Private Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

In this role, you will:

• The Relationship Manager is in charge of managing and developing a client’s portfolio, participating in the Team’s organization and ensuring appropriate administrative support
• Provides full-service banking and all transactions to high-net-worth individual clients through the marketing of all appropriate company services
• Grow revenue, increase AUM of portfolio and increase inflows of net new money (NNM), achieving growth by leveraging brand, channels and RM network
• Establishes new relationships and manages existing relationship in order to generate new AUM and Revenue
• Co-operates with platform manager to clear pending items, improve quality and resolve problems
• Ensures client’s objectives are met through an appropriate selection of products within the client portfolio
• Provides coaching and guidance to other RM’s and creates opportunities to develop their knowledge and experience level
• Lead by example by exhibiting behaviours consistent with HSBC values
• Ensures follow-up on all risk and compliance issues (such as CCR, KYC, Compliance requests, Risk Management requests, Internal Audit requests)
  
  

• In depth relationship management experience in the private banking sector
• Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation
• Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
• Highly developed communication skills for use in direct client contact and problem solving
• Ability to provide strong financial and statistical analysis.
• Strong customer service focus
• Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems
• Excellent understanding of financial markets and products
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of the Global India client segment (in the UAE and key wealth hubs in Asia and EMEA) and the Onshore India/Offshore wealth corridors
• Industry professional with strong investment knowledge and experience, particular awareness of the investment characteristics of the Global India client segment
• Ability to operate, grow market share, client acquisition and profitability within the UHNW client segment
• Ability to leverage upon and deliver the whole Bank to UHNW clients in order to meet client acquisition and profitability objectives
• Very strong risk culture and fully embrace the three lines of deference governance and risk management framework
