We are urgently recruiting for 2 experienced HR Officer’s to be based in our GEMS Schools in Abu Dhabi.

The first opportunity is for an HR Officer to be based at
Cambridge International School – Abu Dhabi
The GEMS Cambridge International School Abu Dhabi (GCIA) opened in September 2013. Currently we are FS1 to Year 9 and set to grow to Year 13, with an overall NOR of 3400 students, in subsequent years. Students follow the English National Curriculum and Cambridge International Examinations syllabus for IGCSE and A Level Programmes of study. The language of instruction is English. We offer a full, broad and balanced range of learning opportunities both in and out of the classroom.

The second opportunity is for an HR Officer to be based at
GEMS American Academy – Abu Dhabi
GEMS American Academy, Abu Dhabi (GAA) is modeled after the highly successful and sought after Dubai American Academy. Opened in September 2007, GEMS American Academy, Abu Dhabi benefits from the experience of our sister school in providing an outstanding college preparatory educational program in the English language to students from around the world. In October 2011, we moved to our state-of-the art facilities in Khalifa City A which include a planetarium, a 500 seat auditorium, six science laboratories, a six court sports hall, 2 swimming pools, 4 full size tennis/basketball courts and a full sized outdoor sports pitch.

All suitable applicants will be considered for both positions.
The successful candidates will:
Have at least 2-3 years’ of HR, Employee Relations and Recruitment experience
Hold an educational qualification in a subject related to Human Resources
Have a passion for Human Resources and working with people
Be a good team player who will work with the Principal and other administrative team members to ensure the policies and practices of the school are followed consistently.
Have a basic understanding of the UAE Labour Law.
Have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Must be based in the UAE, preferably on family sponsorship.
