Key responsibilities
Key plans and activities evolve around all aspects pertaining to the Marketing and PR functions such advertising campaigns (online and print), social media, third party marketing, partnerships and public relations. Your key duties will include, but not limited to the following:
Advertising, promotion and sponsorships
To manage the hotel’s advertising function in such a way that all advertisements are well prepared in order to maximize ROI and reflect a positive image of the property.
Formulate an annual plan in terms of strategic partnerships and effective sponsorships.
Evaluate and solicit barter opportunities from the UAE / Dubai commercial sector to help raise awareness of the hotel and drive new revenue streams.
Develop hotel’s brochures and material as required, according to the company visual identity guide.
Directs photography and videography activities in liaison with area office.
Content Management
Responsible on MHR.com website content for Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach using the MHR content system –- in coordination with the Regional E-commerce team
Drive promotion campaigns included in MHR.com in coordination with the Regional E-commerce team
Digital Marketing and Social Media
Lead hotel’s Social Media campaigns, Tweet ups, blogger and online influences activities.
Drive E-Newsletter annual plan and data collection activities with the aim to drive business among the local market.
Actively look for new opportunities and partners in order to increase newsletter subscribers database
To ensure a process is in place to effectively manage on-line reputation
Responsible of SEO program for the hotel and take action to drive best return on investment in coordination with the Regional E-commerce team.
Properly management of all hotel’s Social Media Networks through creative campaigns and content.
Public Relations
Develop a good working relationship with tourism bureaus and community leaders.
Develops and implements Communications and media strategies with the aim to promote the upscale image of the hotel and by doing so contributes to the revenues of the property.
Develop a unified database of media contacts and use it for direct communications.
Take full responsibility for the key media and influencers by maintaining and developing close relationships
Prepares hotel press releases for appropriate targeted media, locally and internationally.
Thinking Creatively: Develops new ideas, relationships or services / products.
Acts as official spokesperson for Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach when appropriate and responds to all media requests.
Manages crisis communications in close coordination with area office.
Actively pursue and organize press and influencers trips locally and regionally.
