Job Duties and Responsibilities of CCTV Security Systems Sales Representative and Technician

*Collaborates with the sales team to promote CCTV security systems to help generate business revenues;
*Performs skilled security technician work in the service / repair, alteration, installation and maintenance of all security-related systems;
*Performs service/installation of access control, intrusion alarm, closed circuit television systems, and other various security related systems;
*Evaluates, diagnoses, troubleshoots and perform repairs as necessary;
*Performs upgrades and additions to systems in order to increase functionality utilization;
*Performs computer program entry as required to add CCTV cameras, access control and intrusion alarm systems as needed;
*Prepares documentation in a variety of written and electronic for the purpose of providing written support in compliance with regulations and/or conveying information;
*Is responsible for reading and understanding technical drawings, assigned project documentation and work orders including scope of work and determine if additional information is needed;
*Attends to on-call duties to respond to after-hours emergency service calls;
*Exhibits effective customer service skills by consistently communicating with service coordinator, branch manager, and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction experience;
*Performs other duties as assigned, including attending training classes when offered;
*Provides ability to install, service, troubleshoot and program CCTV and access control systems;
*Follows troubleshooting guidelines and refers to technical/parts manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. in order to diagnose and repair equipment or systems, and;
*Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by superior from time to time.
