Duties: Provides customer service support to the organization by obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. Initiates and/or implements corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Prepares customer service summary reports. Co-ordinates the handling of difficult and/or unusual situations.
Typical responsibilities include:
* Create and deliver an Operating plan for related departments in line with the company’s aims and objectives as set by the CEO
* Report to the Board of Trustees through attendance at quarterly Board meetings
* Direct and manage their departments, providing clear guidance and setting targets which tie directly back into the company’s business plan.
* Forecast, monitor and evaluate those budgets for Building Services and Visitor Services
* Ensure that daily operations are being carried out in the most efficient and cost effective manner thereby maximising value for money from expenditure incurred
* Carry out regular departmental meetings to ensure that teams are fully briefed and working optimally and in line with corporate goals
* Manage and coordinate the operation of all temporary exhibitions and events including liaison with suppliers, exhibitors or internal departments as required
* Carry out and oversee the role of daily Duty Manager in order to ensure consistency of operations and customer service standards
– Handle customer queries and on-site complaints
– Ensure that the centre has been inspected and prepared for opening/business,– e.g. pre-opening checks are completed and daily reports evaluated and discussed with the relevant Line Manager
– Monitor daily operations to ensure the smooth running of the Centre. Directing relevant staff as required and providing feedback to managers where issues have been identified
* Act as external liaison and company representative for the Organisation in those areas related to the operation of the Centre, including; local neighbourhood associations, trade / other 3rd party organisations and public bodies such as the Council, Police and Fire Department.
* Project Manage adhoc projects that may involve construction and installation works within the Centre
* Perform additional duties assigned by the Chief Executive as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the department/business.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
BS in related discipline
A Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior management role
Minimum 5 years Gcc’ experience
Excellent Communication skills with proven track record of leading multiple teams
Proven ability to learn and adapt to a variety of project work while adopting a ‘hands on’ approach
Experience in managing multiple budgets
Membership in a professional or chartered body is a plus.
