The Role
We are looking for a Project QA/QC Manager (Oil & Gas) to work for a EPC division of a Western main contractor in Jizan, Saudi Arabia

Job Role:
- Project QA/QC Manager (Oil & Gas)
- Reports to the Project Manager
- The right candidate must have the ability to communicate well at all levels within the Company and to demonstrate leadership. In addition, the candidate must possess very good planning, presentation, negotiations and organizational skills, the vision to identify quality improvement opportunities and the ability to achieve results through motivation and team working. The candidate should demonstrate a sound experience in the execution of project with relevant scope.
- Responsible for the establishment of a fully documented project quality system in line with the Contract requirements and ISO 9001:2008.
- Ensure that work is carried out fully in accordance with the project quality standards specified in the Contract and that the procedures laid down in the Project Quality Plan to achieve these standards are followed.
- Establishing and monitoring KPI’s for all project execution phases
- Maintain a project quality audit schedule to ensure effectiveness of the project quality system.
- Coordinate external inspection agencies when required.
- Keep close liaison with the Owner with regard to all site QA/QC issues during all phases of project execution.
- Check purchase and sub-contract requisitions and evaluate vendor’s and Sub-Contractor’s quotation with regard to inspection matters, as applicable
- Organize and provide quality awareness training sessions
- Supervising a multi-discipline team of QC Engineers and Inspectors on site

Requirements
-BSc Engineering or equivalent HND or equivalent could be accepted if accompanied with strong professional qualifications and experience.

(NOTE: For Oil &Gas projects the preferred Candidates shall have a Mechanical Eng. Or Metallurgical Eng. Degree.).

- Previous experience in ARAMCO projects will be considered as a plus.
- 15 years working experience with at least 10 years in QC Engineer/Manager post.
