The Role
Our client, a leading organisation in Dubai, is currently looking for an HSE Manager to join their growing Oil and Gas team.

Generally, the HSE Manager is expected to provide strategic leadership, advice and guidance to senior management and HSE team members on health, medical, safety and environment issues, with a focus on sustainability, minimising risk and achieving good oilfield practice.

Some specific responsibilities include directly promoting, by example and leadership, a culture of risk management throughout the company; driving forward agreed HSE programmes; providing reliable assurance of the effectiveness of HSE management systems; identifying and sponsoring studies that demonstrate compliant and innovative engineering design changes; and overseeing company medical clinic operations, keeping the company’s external revenue in mind.

Requirements
Ideal candidate for this role must have Engineering degree or equivalent with 15 years operational experience of major hazardous installations plus experience in offshore and senior HSE role, preferably with international content and a member of HSE-related professional body. The right candidate should also be excellent in written and spoken English, medically and physically fit for offshore and hot climates.
